The Thing. Quite possibly one of the best horror movies ever made, largely using paranoia as a plot vehicle as any member of the team could have been infected. Now it may have taken over a decade, but finally somebody decided to snap up the license, and to make a go of The Thing: The Game. Not just any bog-standard Resi rip-off, mind...Computer Artworks have created a brilliant new engine based around a revolutionary new trust/fear system that is crucial to just about every task, no matter how small. This game starts after the film ended (having seen the film only once and ages ago I cannot go into much detail.) the film was basically about a team of scientists being killed/stalked by The Thing. (Here we see a major change where in the (original) film there was only one Thing the game sees many different sized Things.) In the game you control Captain Blake leader of a military team sent in to investigate a scientific outpost in the Antarctic which has been destroyed by a mysterious shape shifting alien.
