Advantages: Hilarious, Really easy to play
Disadvantages: None
This game has to be the funniest 'God' game that I have ever played and to be honest I was surprised by this as usually when I think of hospitals I think of places where you sit around for ages with nothing to do and being surrounded by death and disease.
This game however is brilliantly funny and there is always work that needs to be done within the hospital.
The aim of the game is to build a super hospital in which you offer a first class health service and cure many weird and wacky diseases. The game works on a level system that consists of a total of 15 levels. Each level as you would expect gets harder as you go on and before each level you are given a briefing of what you must achieve to progress to the next level. This includes things such as cure count, hospital value and money in the bank. The first level obviously is easy and is really just an opportunity for the player to get to grips with the game.
To succeed in the game you must buy the right equipment, research the right areas and most importantly employ the right people for the jobs that need to be carried out in and around the hospital.
The Staff
Doctors- these are the people who diagnose and cure the majority of the patients who enter the hospital and are split into 4 categories, Doctors, Researchers, Psychiatrists and Surgeons each of who can do specialist jobs. The Surgeons carry out operations, Psychiatrists cure the mental people, researchers improve treatments and machines and doctors diagnose people.
Nurses - the nurses look after patient who are waiting for an operation and people who are having specific treatments in the hospital and in the pharmacy
Maintenance worker - a good hospital needs lots of these as they water plants fix machines and sweep the corridors, which stop rat infestations.
Receptionist - your hospital cannot function without a receptionist as she directs your patients to the correct room. A polite receptionist is always a good idea, as people don't want to be abused as soon as they enter the hospital.
The diseases
The patients suffer from many diseases, which need different treatments, illnesses such as bloaty head, hairyitis and baldness need specialised equipment which needs to be researched. Some illnesses like gut rot and the squits can be treated in the pharmacy by the nurses and others such as golf stones and kidney beens are only curable in the operating theatre and obviously psychiatric illnesses can only be cure in the psychiatry room.
As you can see the diseases are hilarious and often the cures are even more bizarre. The sounds on the game are equally humorous as the receptionist is very vocal at time s and when someone goes to the bathroom the sound effects also come into play.
This game is a must for anyone who has a sense of humour and enjoys 'God' games and it is fairly easy once you get the hang of it although it does get difficult to hit you targets in the last few levels.
Summary: Great 'God' game and really funny
