OMG...you'd be surprised how many doctors I know actually play this game!

Theme Hospital has got to be the best simulation game ever created as it combines management skills with good ol optimising-the-variables skills required in games of this genre.

Much better than the newer revamped version of Theme Hospital, the original is a great game for both children as well as adults. Whilst it effectively teaches children how to balance the hiring and firing of hospital staff, optimising layouts and improving the service and revenue of the hospital (without them realising), the game also has nice touches like hospital announcements ("Patients are reminded not to die in the corridors") which adults will find hilarious.

The graphics are excellent and the controls of the game are very intuitive. The game doesn't refer to actual health conditions - you have conditions such as Bloaty Head which requires special equipment to 'pop' patients with bloaty heads. All good clean fun for both kids and grownups alike! And extremely addictive!

Summary: The best game ever invented... if only Bullfrog would expand it!
