Advantages: Addictive madness
Disadvantages: Sometimes gets a few glitches
This is by far one of the most addictive games I have played. The premies of the game is that you are in charge of the hospital and you must keep it running. There are all kinds of things you can do from hiring and firing staff, such as doctors, nurses, receptionists etc. to building a variety of new rooms etc like wards, waiting rooms, pharmacy and operating theatres. Then you have to jeep on top o fall the hospital finances and the hospital decoration etc.
the gameplay is simple and easy to follow, by doing so makes this game super addictive. You play through various levels building the hospital to cope with more and more ilnessess as you progress. There are all kinds of other problems to try and deal with such as an earthquake. You must make sure you stay in profit while also not loosing your patients lives.
You may find the graphics in game a little dated but they are good enough to sonvey the humour of a bloated head syndrome and other
jokes in game, as well as just good enough to enojy the game play.
In terms of this game on newer operating systems there is not real compatability issues that I have found, current running it on vista ultimate without any hickups and the same is to be said with XP. I have not yet tried it on my windows 7 build but it should still be compatable from what I can tell.
In all I think this game is a defainte must play at such a cheap price because it is simple and addictive. However if running a hospital sounds boring to you try the Theme Park game as its even better than this and just as addictive/cheap.
Summary: Overall a good addictive fun game

- 22/10/09 I remember playing this years ago! Some good info in your review, though it would have been even better with a little more detail - how well does it work with new versions of Windows, for example? |
