Advantages: Lots of options and fun to be had
Disadvantages: Needs mass memory
Im all for great games, but I hate one factor about the latest releases, Memory requirements. To run Theme Park World you need at least 32Mb, but 64 gives better performance. As windows uses god knows how much, and some goes to other system things it means having a very good PC to play it. I loaded the game up (installed easily) and it was looking very good, but as soon as the game kicked in it was sooooooooo slow, the hard drive was working overtime to keep up and the game was jerking all over the place. Even when I cllosewd down many applications and freed up as much as possible it was still a bit slow, although much improved. As for the game itself it seems rather splendid, lots of rides and more options than the average runner of Alton Towers and so many rides to use. The game eases you into the running of itself, with a weird little scottish blob explaining the things to do. The graphics are terrific and the sound true to real funfairs, and the first person option is wonderful as you scream round your own coasters. Its just a shame that only the high end PC owner will really get to appreciate the game.
