Official BTCC CARS and Support Cars. Full Championship, Arcade Style Challenge, Time Trial, Single Race, Support Car Championship, Multi-Player modes all available. Hi-res graphics, remodelled tracks and real-time lighting for maximum authenticity. Real pit stops, car set-up options and weather that changes during the race, all give added depth and strategy. Multiple difficulty levels to give accessibility to newcomers and to challenge experts. Particle explosions, smashing glass and spectacular crash damage. Codemaster's brilliant Euro-racer was overshadowed by their other Rally game, but TOCA fans are a die-hard lot and they'll be overjoyed to see the sequel finally take off. What's TOCA all about, for those poor, unfortunate souls that have lived their lives without knowing the fun that only TOCA can bring? Well, you get a (typically rain-covered) racing track and sixteen drivers with paid-up life insurance. You put them in small, road standard sports cars and watch them go crazy for a while, using all of their skill to finish the race hopefully in first place without flying off the course or crashing into too many other drivers. Thankfully all of the thrills and spills have been translated perfectly into TOCA, and the sequel takes the game further into the realm of greatness. Just look at the graphics - they're spectacular, with transparent windows showing the drivers move their heads and arms around as you try and control their cars, and amazing reflections coming off the framework. You're going to need a hefty PC to bring you all of this visual goodness, but lower machine owners can turn off all the detail and still enjoy the speedy gameplay. Another winner!
