Advantages: Easy controls, good length single player

Disadvantages: bad multiplayer

This was the first Tom Clancy game that I played, being a fan of the books I was not so sure what to expect.

Thankfully the game itself was very good, you play as Captain Scott Mitchell of the Ghost Recon squad in the US Army and command a squad in an attempt to complete all the missions.

You only directly command your main character and you give orders to your squad, like where to go regroup things like that.

The single player campaign is the best part of the game, it is much more of a tactical shooter than some of the more popular games, where you have to use cover much more to your advantage and plan your attacks rather than running in shooting.

The game is set in Mexico where you are assigned to guard a summit, whilst you are there Mexico rebels attack the summit killing one of the VIP's you are meant to be protecting and kidnapping two others it is your mission to try and locate and rescue them.

The controls are easy to use and master so controlling your character and the squad is pretty easy, alhough the AI is not up to much the game should take at least 10 hours to complete for an average gamer.

As in most of the games with Tom Clancy's name on it the graphics are pretty impressive, the detail is good and the area you can explore is large although to get the best out of it you will need a decent PC with a good graphics card.

The multiplayer version of the game is not really very good it has all the normal game types you would expect with this game type, if your going to get this game only buy it for the single player.

Summary: A good tactical shooter
