Advantages: Combat air with nice graphics, stunning sound and environment

Disadvantages: Less feeling of simulation, few 'glitch', no custom weapons

What's Inside?

I'm not gonna tell you what's the story here, what mission, or even the walkthrough. Instead, I'll tell you more specifically about the gameplay and stuffs the game tries to offer.

The game play overall is action-arcade combat simulation type. If you are already familiar with simulation game type, with taking off, landing, flying to avoid radar detection... you won't find any of it here. The speed slide is not available, so forget about 30% throttle, 50% bla bla bla. What you can do is slowing down... and boosting up. But hey- cheer up, when you play the game turns out its entertaining, challenging and addicting. Plenty of dogfight, and experience the most tense air combat you'll ever feel (especially when going online ;p)

There is this 'assist' mode that the game provides, giving you nice view on your ship and surrounding. If you don't have problem with the controls and good enough, you'll play the game by staying in this mode. Also when you already master the way to stall, you can use it to dodge missiles or even knocking your opponents in the tail.

The mission? normally you'll fly with wingmen, which are available for order to defend or attack your designated target. You'll have the story before you start the mission, and briefing right the moment you start the mission.

Sometimes during your mission, you will have to fly through computed hoops (ERS) to reach designated target and... fire the missile away. Moreover, radio chatter during the mission will increase your tense especially when protect mission, or face large group of fighters and ground AA/ SAM. There are challenges, ship, and weapons unlocking. When you completed your mission and challenges, they will opened up gradually ;)

The Closing Curtain

The game is awesome. Providing wide range of well known combat fighter, and with variety of armaments. There are several graphic/simulation issue (ex : running your ship on tree won't hurt you), but hell whatever. Still make a good score for me anyway and hey, try playing online ;) (9/10 stars).

Summary: Great game. I'll say "Good job!" (9 of 10)
