Having played TR1 TR2 and TR3 I was looking forward to this game, it was one of the first i bought to go with my spanking new pc. The game is dull, the all egyptian levels really limit the possibilities and the training level was a joke. BRING BACK LARA'S HOUSE. The graphics are poor, a new engine would have really helped. The puzzles are unoriginal and some of them very stupid. Removing most of the weapons was a very bad idea... the few you were left with are boring. The only nice thing about this rubbish game was the intro video. A total waste of money... Dont bother with this game... Brad ... Read the complete review

The Last Revelation sends archeologist Lara to the Land of the Pharaohs for an adventure that could cost her more than she bargains for. The plot revolves around ancient mythology and the alignment of the stars at the millennium. The title returns Lara to the cloak-and-dagger intrigue of Northern Africa developed in the original Tomb Raider game. you need to spend a while exploring the depths and solving the puzzles that lie within. If they weren't enough to give you a full-size migraine, there's a high number of creatures that haven't been fed for a while and have heard you're good enough to eat. Luckily you've brought along a couple of handy (red: ... Read the complete review

...in an even tighter top than before. Got this some time ago but I thought I'd enlighten those of you who didn't actually get the game. The first time I tried this game was in some TV that I couldn't even tune so I was rather stuck but I could get a rather hazy fmv sequence. It looked amazing even though I couldn't quite make it all out! When I got it to work on another set I was amazed, the title scene was amazing...for, well a title scene. Some of Lara's stunts were amazing and I wondered if you could actually do all those in the game... It basically sweeps through several different areas and in between each you get to ... Are there enough?.. Tomb Raider One, Tomb Raider Two, Tomb Raider Three and NOW a Tomb Raider Four!.. Will there ever be an end to the unimaginative adventurist gaming? At first, it was new, it was good. The graphics were good, the game was a relatively addictive game with a lot of media hype. I enjoyed it. Most people enjoyed it. Of course, it did have the fair share of sceptics and critics. The succession of Tomb Raider, saw a Tomb Raider Two and Three. Yet as graphics became more advanced, they did not seem to improve the actual game, but focused more on 'sexy' animations that need a special word to see at the end of it. The game didn't ... After the disappointment that was TR3, the Last Revelation is a bit of a revelation itself. The graphics are improved over TR3, and the levels are much more interesting. Where TR3 disappointed with its vast rambling levels, TR4 is much more focussed. The first level does drag on a bit, especially for those who know how to control Lara (oo-er missus) from playing the previous games. It does attempt to build a storyline though, with the help of a number of impressive FMV sequences. The game starts with a young Lara being taught the tricks of the trade by her mentor Werner Von Croy. The second level is where things really start, and first impressions ... Read the complete review
