My 6 year old recently received this as a gift. The first problem I encountered was that the game works on 256 Colour - so I had to manually alter all the settings on my PC. The game loads easily, and the first screen you are presented with is a log in screen so that you get a time in - time out card. You are then presented with a picture - with narration - of the areas you can enter. It is all self explanatory and well within most 6 year old capabilities.
