Toy Story 2 (PC)

Toy Story 2 - The PC Action game is obviously based on the film of the same name. As Buzz Lightyear, starting in Andy's bedroom jumping on bookshelves and desks you need to search the rest of the house collecting tokens (and Little Bo Peep's sheep!!) etc. Along the way you encounter various other 'nasty' toys which you must destroy with your laser. You will also bump into Buzz's friends, Little Bo Peep, Mr Potato Head and so on. (Infact, you have to find Mr Potato Head's ear part way through the game!!). ..of course, that would be almost impossible. Toy Story 2 the film was outstanding. This game is a rather frustrating first person shoot em up/puzzler sort of game. First, the controls are immensely frustrating. Unlike other first person games I have played, the backwards key turns the shooter (buzz lightyear) right around. Apparently this is a legacy of a console type game but is really irritating in a PC game - and very disorientating. Second, this game is a little too difficult for a child. This game is very good for children, but adults might find it abit boring. It is all about getting around Andy's house. Buzz is who you are controlling, he can jump on and off furniture,runand walk and climb up things and down again. There are numerous levels but i gave up as i got bored of it. The idea of the game is too complete every level and collect everthing you see along the way like coins and other objects. I do like the way Buzz moves around. You see all the characters from the movie as you move around in the game. You go every where in that house.
