Oh dear, oh dear, this program has given me nothing but trouble.
I purchased it about a year ago, installed it and used it a few times. After that it just continued to crash. I tried uninstalling and reinstallying, but nothing seemed to work.
I now have a free BVE 4 downloaded program which is much better and serves the same purpose!

Train Simulator is a game released in 2002 by Microsoft for PC which enables the player to take control of his/her favourite trains. Much detail has been put into the control of the trains as small tasks such as the rising and retraction of the pantograph. It has many different scenarios and also includes themed rides, for example in one ... Read the complete review

Fulfill all those childhood train driving dreams and upgrade yourself from that old Hornby Trainset!!! The game is very graphics intensive and therefore depending on the routes you want to install can take up to 2GB of your hard disk. Once installed you are taken to the main menu. There is a feature which enables you to sit ... Read the complete review

I don?t usually write reviews on games, but Microsoft Train Simulator is just so exceptional I thought I must. I?m not even particularly interested in trains. I?ve never been train spotting and I?ve never taken an interest in how a locomotive works. However, when I saw Microsoft Train Simulator advertised, I thought, ?I?ve just got ... Question- How can you tell when a train spotter reaches orgasm? Answer- He drops his notebook and binoculars. That puerile little aside is the sort of thing that I would have said up until a few months ago. However, something that happened to me over the intervening weeks has caused me to re-assess my cynicism. I have become an ... Read the complete review

I normally have a few opinions on the go at once, and complete them over the course of a few days, but this is actually the third introduction I've written for this one. Y'see, I just can't decide whether I like this game or not. At first I loved it, it was a novelty and getting to grips with it was so different to any other ... Read the complete review
