This is one of the best computer games i have ever played. It is really so much fun. I have had hundreds of hours of fun from this one simple game that does not take a lot out of your computer. You can play this game smoothly on a very basic computer that is even 5-8 years old.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe is a project building game. It is also an early simulator for running transport companies. Although very basic as a game and not really like the real thing, many aspects do relate to what you would mainly control in the real world.

The game involves building an empire of business. The aim is to build transport links to transport goods from a location such as a source to a place where it is required and be put to better use. It creates a chain effect. For example you would transport coal from a coalmine to a electricity plant where it is required. Another example in the fantasy world is transporting cotton from a cotton mill to a sweet factory, which makes sweets. You can then transport the sweets to a town that accepts sweets and gain more money.

There are a range of different vehicles that you can use from trains to trucks, ships and planes. There are new more advanced vehicles introduced into the game as each year passes and technology improves.

There are lots of aspects within the game, which make it interesting such as competitors competing against you for business, there are disasters, vehicles can have breakdowns and there are also business subsidies to boost you chances of earning money.

There are lots of preset scenarios to take part in within a real world and also a fantasy world. The overall looks of the game are basic with no major graphics thus meaning it does not take a lot to play this game on a basic computer.
