In Tropico you are given an island to rule. You are the president of the island and all you have to do is to get your people prosperity and good life. You have to give them good housing, food, job, education, you would have to make them happy and make the tourists come so your country would be able to get some money. This simulation game is really interesting because you would be given the chance to rule as you like it.
There are lots of game options, from the easiest one to the hardest one. The graphics were also good, and if it is too heavy to be loaded at your computer you can just get it lowered in the options. The adjustable gaming options is really helpful in playing this game.
The minimum requirements were also quite low, you don't have to have the highest spec computer to be able to play this game on your computer.
This game is an open ending game, so it is all up to you. Of course you can cheat, but I am not gonna give you the cheat code of this game, it would make you lost the fun in playing this.
I recommend this game for you, if you want some game to kill some time because the duration is quite short.
Bored? Fancy ruling a Tropical Island, Fidel Castro style?
Then Tropico is the game for you!
A highly playable strategy game, a mixture between resource management and city building, Tropico is quite addictive and will keep you entertained for hours.
It is your role to control a small island nation from 1950 and steer its course throughout the 20th century, watching carefully not to be thrown out of power by the people, toppled by a military coup, or invaded by the United States. Choose democracy or dictatorship, banana republic or tourist hot-spot. With good graphics and an award winning and highly enjoyable soundtrack, Tropico is an excellent game for those wanting to create their own little piece of paradise, or hell!
The Gold Edition comes with the Add On, which improves game play and adds to a better, more varied gaming experience. It also comes with the manual, and even cheats for those not wanting to play fairly.
