A highly playable strategy game, a mixture between resource management and city building, Tropico is quite addictive and will keep you entertained for hours.

It is your role to control a small island nation from 1950 and steer its course throughout the 20th century, watching carefully not to be thrown out of power by the people, toppled by a military coup, or invaded by the United States. Choose democracy or dictatorship, banana republic or tourist hot-spot. With good graphics and an award winning and highly enjoyable soundtrack, Tropico is an excellent game for those wanting to create their own little piece of paradise, or hell!

The Gold Edition comes with the Add On, which improves game play and adds to a better, more varied gaming experience. It also comes with the manual, and even cheats for those not wanting to play fairly.
