I believe this to be better than the first however a bit harder also!, it took me ages to figure out how to get past the first level!, there are many good points about this game!, one is that it has kept the same controlls as the first. The two player battle is very good in my opinion!, there is a choice of levels and many weapons to blow away your oposition. Although to match the standards of the James Bond games there is a lot of work to be done! ... Read the complete review

Turok 2 may not be able to knock Half Life off as king as the 3D shoot-em-up hill, it's still a flipping good game. Not only does it look good and feature superbly animated creatures and spooky locations, it's highly playable, both in single player and multiplayer mode, with a perfectly pitched difficulty level and the aforementioned gory weapons. The only negative point is that some people have said Turok 2's levels contain a bit of fogging - this is where you can't see as far as you'd expect to be able to see--instead, the landscape fades out as if in fog. Personally, I've only seen this on a couple of occasions. Once on the last level, and only ... Read the complete review

I love shoot em ups and am damn glad I tried this game before shelling out good money out on it. The graphics would be more suited on a Sega master System. The sound is awful and the game is totally repetitive. For a PC game this is totally not on, a lot more time should have been spent working on this game they could have come up with something special instead of this drivel. Fans may have just bought this game on the name alone they will be in for quite a shock. This game should have stayed on the N64 where it belongs. ... Read the complete review

As a general rule, I like shoot-em-ups. I enjoy the missions which are normally varied and challenging. Now, they go and ruin all my preconceptions about shoo-em-ups by creating this. The graphics are average to say the least albeit that the death scenes of monsters when shot is impressive. The aim of each sections soon become repetitive and unimpressive. When one compares this game to Goldeneye on the N64 it is sadly lacking. Normally one would expect the Pc to provide better quality games but it has certainly not done that with this one. One to avoid unless you're a must have Turok fan. Even then though, be prepared to be disappointed. ... Read the complete review

N64 owners liked Turok when it first appeared on their consoles. They boasted about the graphics, gameplay and weapons that it offered. They had a right to do so, as the original Turok was quite fun to play. Then the sequel arrived...quite fun again. Then it was converted to the PC. Oh Dear. It seems so much like a console game from as soon as you enter the first level. Arcadey, N64 graphics are used, with no improvements made for the PC except the chance to change the resolution (Wow). The levels are FAR too boring, and consist of "find-the-key-for-this-door" style gameplay, with nothing really interesting happening. The weapons are its main high-point, as ...
