... file is Windows-based and the game is DOS-based, it is very hard to read the manual at the same time as the game. There is a text file supplied on the disc, although the same problem is encountered, the game is in DOS where you can't multi-task, the only way round this is to print one of the files, but as they are at least 50 pages long this may be a lot of printing. Some people don't like RPG's, they should play this and become as addicted to it as I am. This game loads up with some pentagram on the screen and a Big Red Hand dropping a man form it, this is the beginning of the great Ultima 8. The Guardians voice sounds a bit corny, but as it was made in 1994 you can forgive it. I got this game in the Ultima: Compendium and loaded it stragiht away. The graphics seemed a bit old but the gameplay of it was excellent. There are a lot of sub-quests in this game which are fun to play.
