I am a sucker for playing the free trial games found on the internet. I came across Virtual Villagers when I was browsing a couple of weeks ago. The option was there to either download for free to gain an hour's gameplay, or you could choose to pay the approx £10 for the actual game. Virtual Villagers is a sim management game. There are a tribe of six villagers lost on a deserted island called Iosa, after their boat capsized. This is a simulation/strategy game. The idea is that you are marooned on an island and you have to build a community. You start with 6 people and you have to build more. The graphics are cute, and there are loads of tasks for you to do. The games plays in real time, so you can switch on for 5 minutes, see how all your villagers are doing and then go back to work. I am one of these people who love to play strategy games. Even more so when you actually have to make something of the game. Now I was searching through all kinds of game sites when I came across Virtual Villagers - A New Home. As with most games like these you always get a free trial, usually 1 hours worth.
