Warcraft II is an immensely fun game of pure strategy. You command a legion of tough orcs or noble humans across many levels and scenarios to wipe out the enermy force. Included with the game is a map editor program so you can create your own levels and even edit the characteristics or the characters. The world is viewed from a top down birds-eye view and the statistics of each character are displayed on the left hand side of the screen whenever you click on a character. This game has put a bit of years on now, but I will never forget it. It was probably my first PC strategy game. Warcraft 2 is the much improved sequal of Warcraft which came in the set that I bought. That included Warcraft, Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness, and The expansion pack, Warcraft 2 The Dark Portal. The whole box set me back £60, but when I look back now on the amount of hours I played and enjoyed the game it was well worth it.
