Disadvantages: having to lvl characters

the tag line for this game was WAR is everywhere, which in this game it can be said to be true. there are 6 playable races, each with its own unique classes. the races are split into 2 sides, destruction and order, both set on destroying the other and claiming the world for themselves. each with their own intentions, destruction want to wipe all good from the land so they can rule over it in tyranny and for order its the opposite. the classes between the 2 sides are roughly even, with each having a similar character to the other, for example order has the white lion class, this is a character who has a pet lion and wields a mighty axe, and the destructions class to match this is the squig herder, who has a pet squig ( a 2 legged beast with lots of teeth) and they wield a spear and a bow. both classes are different but they have also alot in common. this is how most of the character classes in this game work. WAR is quite similar to most mmorpg's and it follows the same character grinding to level to get to max level. although what sets it apart from others is the emphesis on pvp or as it is known in this game rvr (realm vs realm). there are both scenarios and also open rvr. scenarios are instanced arenas where pvp can occur between 2 teams of 12 or so players, where as open rvr is a area on the game map where players can go to fight over control of the map. they can attack and try to take possesion of opposing teams keeps in a eternal struggle for control. this part of the game is basically what makes WAR the sucess that it is. as far as i am concerned WAR is one of the best mmorpgs available atm
