get it you wont be disapointed it is the best 3d strategy game it has a lot to offer - Advantages: good game play, nice graphis, indepth research - Disadvantages: none

Warzone 2100 is simmilar to red alert in that the battles are usually huge yet in a confined space. it is an RTS in full 3d. the units are highly detailed, if a bit generic, but the terrain is superb! The bottle necks are actually cliffs or sheer mountain faces, as opposed to bits of a 2d map that your tanks cant go through. The true line of sight has a great inpact as you dont know what's around the next corner. The interface is intuitive, and a joy to use. the system of creating units is also easy to use. This games is for people who love to work out strategies for battles. You are usually faced with an enemy with slightly superior weapons or technology, which you have to overcome by learning battle tactics. The 3D views are great; you can view the terrain from any angle and work where best to fight the battle or set up your defences. One element I particularly like is that although you have to gather resources, and guard them, it is not a central issue and does not dominate the game.
