Warzone 2100 is simmilar to red alert in that the battles are usually huge yet in a confined space.

it is an RTS in full 3d. the units are highly detailed, if a bit generic, but the terrain is superb! The bottle necks are actually cliffs or sheer mountain faces, as opposed to bits of a 2d map that your tanks cant go through. The true line of sight has a great inpact as you dont know what's around the next corner. The interface is intuitive, and a joy to use.

the system of creating units is also easy to use. However, using the same parts on diferent units, while it may seem logical, i feel it makes the units look too simmilar. In other games, you know what a unit is at a glance. here, units that look similar can do completely diferent things.

the game is well thought out, and professionally put together. It's a bargain buy on the budget shelves
