Puzzle games are about as rare as adventure games on the PC but when Wetrix came out it was a hark back to the days when Tetris was king. Wetrix received warm reviews from various magazines, its a very highly polished little game that provides many hours of entertainment and like all good puzzle games its addictive. Wetrix is all about water. You start off with a flat piece of land, soon different shapes will start to drop down, and these shapes get more complicated as the game goes on. In a word, no. This game is not just a quickly constructed cash in on the tetris style puzzler. When you begin the game you have set out infront of you small square 3D landscape. In Tetris like fashion items begin falling from the sky. These are not blocks but a collection of things. Firstly you have 'Uppers' which raise the land and 'Downers' which lower the land. These two come in the shapes much like Tetris's blocks. Once you've had fun deforming the land water drops begin to fall.
