Who wants to be a millionaire is a great game especially for all those of you who shout at the television version and shout ‘come on! Anyone knows that one!’ and ‘yes Chris of course he’s sure or he wouldn’t go for it, would he! ?’
So here is the computer version that has the real Chris Tarrants voice on it and the actual sudden music theme to add to the tense atmosphere along with ‘fastest finger’ for two players or more, and the actual two seats where you and Chris sit.
This is a great game to play if there is a group of you (this can help you get a little higher up in the money stakes.) or you can play head to head. It also has the traditional ‘ask the audience, 50/50, and phone a friend that Chris calls that has people who try to help you get to the next stage.
If you mange to get to £64,000 like I did once (god knows how) good old Chris says…….yes wait for it………’here’s a cheque for £64.000, but we don’t want to give you that’ (groan!!) and all his other little sayings are included in this version.
My only concern was when I went to ask the audience there was nobody there (surely I wasn’t that bad) and surely if they had gone to all this trouble with the good graphics, they could have stuck some ugly mugs in the seats.
This is a great game, which captures the atmosphere and does make you want to take more risks because it is not real money at stake. But the more you play it, the more you will find some of the easier question will crop up again.
