Advantages: Social gaming experience, with mutiple character variations, many quests and player-v-player aspects

Disadvantages: Some players might find this game to be too addictive and lose their real lives in this virtual one

As a big fan of online games, I am always on the search to find new and improved releases. When World of Warcraft was released about five years ago me and a group of friends were looking to find a new game we could play together. Back then, you had to buy the game for around £30 and then pay monthly subscriptions thereafter! Nowadays, you can download a trial version of this game for free from the publishers official website before making a purchase. If you are new to World of Warcraft, or are looking to get into your very first multi-player online game, head straight over to their website first and download the free trial!

Most people who download the trial fall in love with the game within days! So there's a strong chance that you will rushing back here to buy the game anyway - but my motto is always try before you buy!

If you are reading this, you are more than likely going to know what World of Warcraft is all about, or have been given the general idea by a friend, or have seen the TV adverts, or read about the game somewhere online or in a magazine. If for some reason you've been living under a rock for the last five years in the real world and not the virtual one, you should be aware that games like World of Warcraft are online social networks of gamers who unite together to achieve a goal. In World of Warcraft, the goals vary from killing monsters to complete quests, or by killing players to gain ultra godlike items to show off to your friends, while making yourself feel like a King, or Queen, which your in-game character will soon represent - if you play long enough! To become all you can be within this world, you need to invest a large amount of time from the real one.

If you're not prepared to sit at your PC for hours, days, weeks and months (and even years) on end, reconsider playing this game. Many players have let their online virtual life effect their real one! If you have an addictive personality - avoid at all costs!

If you are brave enough to continue reading, enjoy the game that awaits. Be aware that you require this (the original game) to play with the other expansions that are available, which you will also need, once you reach max level, plus a monthly subscription is also involved.

Summary: Unite with other players and immerse yourself in hours of fantasy gameplay
