Advantages: New Weapons, Great game

Disadvantages: Not worth buying if you have the original

The second release and newly improved worms games matched the best weapons from the original game with some new ones.

Once again you control a four man team of worms in a fashion remiscent of a modern day tanks. The graphics have changed somewhat and the game appears more cartoony with softer edges, the worms are now relatively a little larger. I have to say I actually preferred the old graphics but hey they're still good.

The new weapons are ;

Mortar, Homing Pigeon, Homing Cluster, Hand gun, Super sheep, Homing Air Strike, Napalm strike, Baseball bat, holy hand grenade (a bit of Python-esque humour), petrol bomb, Priceless ming vase, mad cows, old woman,

The old weapons that return are ;

Bazooka, Homing missile, grenade, cluster bomb, banana bomb, shotgun, uzi, mini gun, kamikaze, fire punch, dragon ball (reversal courtesy of SF2 copyrights), prod, dynamite, land mine, sheep, air strike, blow torch, drill, girder and ninja rope.

Personally I was a bit disillusioned that this was released as a full price new game and not as a budget expansion pack. It is pretty good for the few that haven't already played worms original. For most people however it does not add enough to the original to warrant shelling out for. It is nice but its not great at least not for the first time.

Overall if you haven't played worms or don't own worms; buy it and if you have wait or look for a budget release.
