Have you ever smelt the smell of something new? The kind of smell that you think “ahhhh so new and fresh!” When it actually reeks of plastic? I bet you have! Well, how does a new worm smell? Well, when I received Worms World Party (WWP), it reeked of sheer goodness and pleasure, and it smelt even better when I inserted it into my PC drive! That’s right, its back! Worms, the game which every time brings you the best gameplay and addictive fun ever! Being the follow up to the quite excellent Worms Armageddon, this game had a lot of work to do to keep us wormy players interested and boy does it make the work seem done! Being an experienced wormer ... Read the complete review

Having followed the Worms game series from the very beginning it was more force of habit than a yearning when I bought this game. All previous Worms instalments had significantly improved upon the previous and I thought that trend would continue. I was wrong but by no mean displeased. The graphics and art style are very close to if not exactly like that of Armageddon and I cannot really blame or am disappointed with Team 17 as it couldn’t be improved much further without a significant revamp in the code. Maybe next time we will see our little critter friends in 3D, which excites me no end. However, the graphics are 2D and they are impressive at that. ... Read the complete review

Worms: Armageddon was supposed to be the final game of Worms as we know it, according to Team 17. However the ill-fated console Dreamcast wanted a new Worms game and wanted special attention paid to the online features of the game. So this is what we have got, Worms World Party, featuring more of the little, wiggly, death machines. For those unfamiliar with the Worms story then read this part, or else feel free to skip down a bit. Worms was created by Team 17 when a young, plucky young guy had this idea that it would be fun to create a turn based strategy game where worms would be put onto various random out of this world landscapes and blast each other with ... In this game, also known as Worms 4, we see our favourite pain ridden creatures back in a latest adventure that promises exactly what fans of the series want ? more of the same! To be honest, there is limited scope for improvement in this series without completely revamping the concept of the game or the way it plays, and I think most would agree that if it isn?t broke, don?t fix it, and for that reason, I?m glad they decided to leave well alone! In this game, you get everything you got in the previous Worms titles, including bucket loads of weapons, some of them incredibly bizarre (the old woman, the skunk, the banana bomb, the sheep and many more) along with some ... Worms World Party is the newest version of worms for the PC, previews of the game said it would improve the multiplayer aspects of the game while ensuring that single player modes were also expanded but did it succeed? This opinion is very long and split into different sections, I'd recommend you only read the sections that you yourself are interested in rather than the full opinion. ---Comparison to Worms Armageddon (New Features)--- This is basically what you get new if you already own Worms Armageddon: WormPot Mode - Some random variations of a normal game, from what I heard the idea was that you would get a fruit machine type of ...
