Advantages: Fun when you have friends round, Amusing
Disadvantages: Boring by yourself, Below average internet play
If you are someone that sits in front of your computer, by yourself, with no-one else to play with, then Worms World Party is probably not for you. Of course there are single player options. You can play quick games, deathmatch games, training and single player missions but overall they soon become boring and even get to the stage where they can start to depress you. Worms is a game made for a few friends to sit around a PC (or console), have a laugh and face the challenge of blowing the brains out of each others' Worms. If someone loses, they are teased, so onto another round where the loser of the previous round can really show how mean they are (in the form of a worm killing another with a series of exploding bananas). WWP was originally developed to be big over the internet, but from what I've seen so far it is much more fun to play with at least two friends or relatives at home. The layout of the internet game room is poor and there were not many people playing even at peak time but this may be down to the fact that game has only just been released in the UK and not yet in the US. Overall though, the game is cheap and good value for money, just make sure that you have a few friends at hand.
