I bought this game for my youngest daughter for her birthday and I could never get her off the computer for about two years.

One day curiosity got the best of me and I started playing it, ever since I have been on the game with my youngest moaning she never gets a go anymore…I’m not normally this mean but this game has me hooked.

Your role in the game is to build the ultimate zoo including all amenities. In your role as manger you must complete certain goals depending on which zoo you are building in order to unlock more difficult scenarios/zoos. However, like any good manager you have to watch your profit/loss margins to ensure your zoo has enough funds to build new buildings and exhibits, to pay staff and fund research so careful planning and thinking ahead are essential qualities the gamer needs to be successful in this game.

The great thing about this game is no two zoos will ever be the same, as each one will be personalised to the gamers’ preference. The more you play this game the more you will realise what earns the zoo money such as a restaurant and a petting zoo and what loses the zoo money, like having to many burger bars.

Zoo Tycoon the collection includes the two separate expansion packs ‘Marine Mania’ and ‘Dinosaur Digs’ which increases the player choice of animals, exhibits and scenario and by registering online and downloading updates provides you with extras that are not on the disks.

I really recommend this game, it has provided hours and hours of clean fun game play.
