Advantages: Great features available and very good gameplay throughout.

Zoo Tycoon really is a brilliant business simulation, PC strategy game. The game was released in October 2001 and so has been around for a long while now. I bought this came for £15 from Ebay and I was so glad I got it because having tried it in a demo I fell in love with it! There is so much you can do within this game and it is guranteed to give you enjoyment.

The game itself is about desgining, building and managing your very own Zoo and trying to make it as good as possible. In order to achieve this though you will have to build many animal exibitions and with more than 100 different animals to choose from you really are spoilt for choice. You can then after choosing an animal make its own habitat with over 500 different objects to choose from. There is nothing better than seeing your zoo grow and grow and makign more profit.

There are 30 different scenario's that you can choose from which really does give you hours of fun. If you have tried the other tycoon games before and liked them, as I have, I would really recommend trying this. As I have mentioned before there is a free demo available to try and considering this game can be bought to cheaply I really would recommend it. I found the tutorials to be very helpful and they really do give you a good insight in to how to play the game.

The installation of the game was very easy and whilst it uses up 1.4GB of hard drive space the PC specs are minimal meaning that it will run smoothly. Being able to design and build the Zoo of your dreams really was appealing to me and there is so many options to choose from. The graphics like many of the other tycoon games are suitable but could definately be improved. I found the overall gameplay to be excellent and the interface really is very easy to use and get the hang of.

I really have found this game to be very enjoyable and indeed and I simply love playing it. The variety of features available makes it possible to build your zoo exactly how you want it. There is no multiplayer available however, I think this is no needed. I hope you found this useful and thank you very much for reading!
