Advantages: Great fun and easy to play.
Disadvantages: ?
I am far too long in the tooth to be up on what is hot and not in the world of gaming and I certainly could not be considered to be a gamer but there are times when I enjoy a game or two on the PC and one of my favourites is Zuma deluxe.
Zuma is a bright and colourful game that will keep kids and adults alike amused for hours, it has a very simple concept in that a frog in the centre of a brightly coloured screen shoots balls of varying colours from its mouth into a chain of balls in an attempt to match three or more of the same colour to clear the chain before it reaches the open mouth and disappears.
There are 9 levels visible and each has around 5 or 6 sub levels but when you complete those and think you have completed the game a new set of three levels rises from the ashes and again each level has a number of sub levels, so there is lots of game play.
You can quit and return to the game as often as you like and it automatically saves your score which is good because it took me roughly 9 hours in total to complete the game and I would never have completed that in one sitting as I tend to only play games for about an hour per day.
You gather extra life's as the game goes on and be warned you need to have plenty of life's to take on the final levels, I had 15 life's going into the final two sub levels on the final level and only managed to complete it with one life remaining.
It is sighted at 5 years plus and but my four year old granddaughter has become fairly good at it so even younger can play. You can download free trials of this from various places online and then pay around £5.99 to get the full version.
I highly recommend this game to everyone as it is real fun and a simple game to play to pass time without getting too involved or having to try your brain.
Summary: A great game for almost all ages.
