This power supply was purchased a long with other components when i did a custom PC build, as i knew i was going to be putting a lot in including some quite high spec components and anticipating that in the future that I'd probably expand i thought my best option is to go for a high end PSU so that i don't have to upgrade in the future if i upgrade components.


The Antec high current pro power supply unit tucks quite nicely in to the back of the computer tower and easily bolted on ensuring that it is secure. The power supply unit is then powered as all of them are by plugging a generic cable that fits PC's and there monitors to a wall socket and it's running.


Features. The Antec power supply unit has so many useful features which is why it was such an attractive choice for me. First feature i will discuss is over temperature protection which means it wont let it get too hot and in the situation it does then it will power down to reduce the chance of any problems incurring. It also has over current protection this is used in case you get a power surge where to much power can be given and could short out certain components and void them of there usability, this removes the possibility of this happening. It also has over voltage protection which stops it from getting too high voltage to components which could damage or destroy them.

The power suppy made by Nividia's baby company also has gold plated pins to ensure for maximum conductivity, in conclusion of my review i think that if you need a high end power supply unit with protection then this is definitely something that should be taken into consideration as it really does what you need it to do.
