Advantages: Can get different sizes to fit your underwear, keep me feeling clean and fresh
Disadvantages: Not individually wrapped
I apologise in advance as this review may come across as a little bit "too much information" for some people, especially men!
I have been using these pantyliners for years, although I must admit that I have recently bought some cheaper ones from a supermarket to use when these run out (forthcoming review on this in the coming days or weeks). I tend to use these at times when the discharge is a little heavier and this would otherwise be quite uncomfortable and not very hygenic.
I tend to use the long variety to make sure that nothing ends up on the fabric of my knickers. They are also quite useful if my period starts early as they seem to do a good job of soaking up the blood during the lighter stage, although this isn't very practical if you have a heavier start to your period as I think one of these would not be enough protection. The long type fit my underwear nicely but I often find that the normal size leaves some gaps around the edges and has more of a tendency to move about. Obviously this does depend on the size of your knickers!
These claim to be able to protect against odours. I'm not sure how, but perhaps something to do with locking it into the pantyliner? They are not individually wrapped, which can be problematic if you want to take one out and about with you.
For a pack of 24 pantyliners, these cost around £1.89. The 52 pack cost around £2.99. Both of those prices refer to the long type that I buy, and are from Sainsburys. I think the normal type are pretty much the same price.
Summary: These help you feel fresh when you need them
