Premium Review Always Ultra: Not for the men ;o) (219 words)

I personally find Always the best brand to buy when it come's to 'that time of the month'! They offer great protection and keep you feeling clean and fresh throughout your whole period. You buy a pack of around 14 towels for around £1.65 and in the pack, each individual towel is wrapped in it's own little wrapper, which can then be used ...  Read the complete review

When I was a young girl at primary school probably the year before I started secondary school, we got the sex education chat, then the girls were taken into another room with a teacher and we were given some sanitary products and booklets. I didn't have a clue what was going on, trust me not to listen when it was actually something ...  Read the complete review

Once a month I get my monthly visit. I dread that time of the month like most women do and I hate spending money on sanitary products cos they seems such a waste of money! However I do always branded products and thought I'd give these a whirl! The Packaging: Light purple square plastic wrapper. On the ...  Read the complete review

Pardon the unintentional pun, but I always use Always sanitary protection when it comes around to "that" time of the month. I have tried brands such as Kotex before, but I have stuck with Always as they suit me. I use a combination of the regular (for use in the daytime) and night time (obviously for use during the night when I'm lying ...  Read the complete review

OK, I think I'll start this review with an apology to any male Dooyoo-ers who have bravely clicked on to it in an attempt to return rates! It's very kind of you, and don't worry, I'll keep it short and to the point! This is my favourite product for my time of the month, and I've tried enough different brands to know which one is best! I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Always ultra pads (213 words)

Always ultra pads are the ultimate in providing comfort and protection during those painful leaky days. When I started using pads. I never turned back to using any other kind because these suited me so well that I couldn't afford to think about experimenting on any other. These pads worked just the way i wanted them to. I never had ...  Read the complete review

I've been using mostly Always towels since I started my periods years ago. Since I'm a skint student, I used to generally aim for the cheaper towels on the shelf, whatever they might be... the own brand of the shop I was in, or whatever was on offer. But nothing was ever as comfortable as Always. I've always used the winged towels - ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review discrete protection (358 words)

Always ultra is the ultra thin variety of always sanitary towels, these come in different varietys though, they have the ordinary towels without the wings, the winged towels and the night time towels. I have used these towels quite a lot as i find they are very thin and very absorbent, the size of these towels is what wins it for me, as ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Always Ultra
by - written on 08/01/08
Rating:

I like Always Ultra. I use the Night time ones during the day sometimes though I do find that I still leak during the night.
I use the night time ones because they are the only ones that don't leak as much, however I do find the wings problematic, they don't seem to stick very well or the fluid seeps round & onto my clothes. I think the thing is full briefs have a wider gusset, so the wings don't fit that well round it, or it just fits & no more so they aren't really stuck on.
I have used the Always Ultra with Silk & I really like these when I am not so heavy towards the end of my period.
I also tried the Always Sensitive ones, but I didn't think these were very absorbant.

Always are the pads I use most of all - I use some from different brands. I think Always are my preferance, because I feel comfortable with the fit and feel of them, pretty much. There's nothing particular I can say I don't like about Always that I have found better in other sanitary towels, because I have found that I have trouble ...  Read the complete review

I have always used always, I discovered the winged ones about eight years ago. They have improved a great deal, become thinner for one, they are meant to be discreet that is why they are thin so they can go un - noticed when you are out and about, I had the unfortunately embarrasment of wearing something different once when I was out and got ...  Read the complete review

always winged towels r not that good as the winged bit lets the lets say waste go round your panties and soils your clothes when you bleed alot and its unpleasent why cant they use a diffrent material to stop this as when your out and you bleed heaverly you end up going home very quickly or have to buy some new underwear and jeans, trousers or ...  Read the complete review

I just want to make a quick point about Always Ultra sanitary towels: They are FAR worse than they used to be. These so called "improvements" are a waste of time. I used to like Always, in fact they used to be my first choice when the time came, but now? I'm afraid now I choose one of their leading competitors who really seem ...  Read the complete review

yeh, I started my periods about 7 months ago and sarted with always ultra which were fine until my period came heavy unexpectidly, leaked down the sides of my knickers (nice-not) on a school trip. the next period was extremely light, just like heavy discharge, then the next was heavy and I was camping, I decided to try inserting ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Always Ultra with wings (133 words)
by - written on 01/02/06 (Useful, 206 readings)

I remember the old Always and I liked those. They were extremely thin and had a soft top layer that just made any liquid disappear and keep you dry. Then they changed the top layer (God knows why) and since then I find it's just not as good at keeping that dry feeling. The top layer always seems to make me sweaty (nice, huh?) and so I ...  Read the complete review

My problem with sanitary towels are that they make me feel dirty and paranoid, plus they seem to exacerbate all the side effects that come with periods! Sorry to be graphic but I feel better using tampons because if all the gunk is inside and I can't see it, to me it's not there, and I can ignore the cramps, backache ...  Read the complete review

Since I had my second child over 3 years ago my periods have been very irregular. They can occur every 3 weeks, 6 weeks or 3 or 4 months and I don’t have any idea when my next one will be. When I do have my period they can also vary from light to extremely heavy and again I never know from one month to the next what they will be like. ...  Read the complete review

Like a lot of girls, my mother bought my first few packets of sanitary pads when I first started having periods at age twelve. The brand she chose for me was one of the first thin pads on the market, Vespre Silhouettes (anybody remember those great adverts starring Claire Raynor?). I thought they were brilliant because they were so thin and I ...  Read the complete review
