      A good low priced towel.

During my pregnancy I really suffered to keep my underwear dry and it seems a lot of other pregnant women seem to suffer from this problem.

I tried various pantyliners but really they just did not do the job they were either too rough or not long enough and the longer ones were not individually wrapped so I didn't feel quite like carting a large box of pantyliners around in my handbag so I decided to invest in some sanitary towels that may do the job a little better.

During your latter stages of pregnancy when you do leak fluid it is important to keep an eye on it and I found that the sanitary towels that had the rougher top sheets on were so absorbent that you couldn't really tell if everything was ok.

I tried several brands before opting to try Asda's own brand of sanitary towels the freestyle teen which promised a comfortable towel whilst keeping you dry and at a £1 for 14 towels they offered good value for money so I gave them a whirl.

They are packaged in a bright pink wrapper for the daytime towels and the wrappers are either covered with stripes or spots. The towels are all individually wrapped and when you remove from the wrapper a soft towel is revealed.

I have found that these seem to do the job better than the other more absorbant towels out there, this is a nice soft towel which is good and does not irritate and its thin so it does not feel too intrusive.

The towels are absorbant and keep you dry and comfortable. I am not too sure how absorbant they would be when it is the time of the month but I find it best to change the towels every 3 hours just to keep fresh.

I think these towels are ideal for someone needing something to keep them dry during pregnancy and also for someone who is just getting used to their monthly periods as they are softer than some of the leading brands.

They are competitively priced and can be found with the other brands in the toiletry aisle.
