After using them once I would certainly not want to go into the unknown with another brand (or use the ones they issue in hospital that don't even stay in place). The are currently on special offer at ASDA - £1.30 per packet or 2 for £2. You can also get a free bodyform sample (although sadly not this towel) at the Bodyform website - http://www.bodyform.co.uk/Pages/Products /...more

Premium Review BodyForm Goodnight: Having a baby? Get some of these.... (212 words)

After having two babies in two years, I soon realised that these Bodyform Nighttime pads were wonderful. Ok, so they're a bit on the thick side and not as discreet as the Always Ultra, but they do have good points to them. They're great for wearing during the day when you've just had a baby and the flow is heavy. Not only that, but if you have control problems as well after giving birth then these will cope with the job as well - although you'd need to change them straight away after an accident of course. They're quite comfortable to wear, and although they don;t have the same sort of dry-weave top sheet that the Always ...  Read the complete review

I have found that following the births of both my children, these have been the most reliable and comfortable 'maternity' pads. The ones they give you in hospital are vile, with nothing to secure them, completely lacking in absorbency and the chafing....well. The maternity pads you can buy are not much better, perhaps the only benefit over the hospital ones being the thin sticky strip to hold them in place. These nighttime pads are far superior, they are very absorbent, the 'lockaway core' thing helps you to stay comfortable, and takes away the worry of leaking, this can be a particular worry if you spend any time lying down., inevitable in hospital. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BodyForm Goodnight: Bodyform Goodnight for Maternity Use (224 words)

When I was pregnant with my daughter and packing my hospital bag one item on my list was maternity pads. Now anyone that has had a child will know that you bleed heavily and no baby magazine can prepare you for how much you may bleed, this bleeding can last up to four weeks but the first few days are the worst. Now anyone that has seen a maternity pad will understand what I mean when I say 'surfboard', they are enormous, bulky and very uncomfortable. I first bought a few packs of Boots own brand and then read in a baby magazine how Bodyform Goodnight were the 'best on test' so I had to buy some. During those first days I used both but have ...  Read the complete review

Bodyform Ultra Goodnight with wings is just what you need for an extra heavy menstrual flow or the first day or so at night. Although they feel rather bulky compared with other towels at 3mm thick it is not too bad and the extra length (320 mm) makes you feel confident you are not going to leak when you go to sleep. I used these when I had my daughter and now expecting my second child they are on my list of things to buy. I have had 5 children and would not use any other towel, they are small discret and very absorbent, you have enough on your plate with a baby so these mean you,ve no worries.Plus they are so comfortable.I bought 2 packs of night time,1 super and 2 normal which saw me though just fine.If you are breatfeeding you will find it best to change yourself just before and after feeding as you will have a increase in flow whilst feeding,so to avoid a mess it,s best to change in advance. ...  Read the complete review
