Advantages: Cheap and I like the fact they are of good size and are individully wrapped

Disadvantages: Not the thikckest of pad

Being 35 and female means I'm with the majority of women of my age and still get the untimely 'time of the month'. Personally I use a combination of pads or tampons and the reason I purchased these at the time I bought them wasn't cos I needed them actually but I was stocking up on Bodyform products due to the give away of a Jodie Kidd Lipgloss worth a tenner on each pack and for £1.35 a packet (around a bouts!) I couldn't resist the offer and to get a few of them to share with my Mum (The lipglosses not the pads lol).

The Packaging:

Deep square, bright orange plastic packet. On the front of the packet I'm told they are Bodyform 16 Normal and are Ultra Pads. Other information on the packaging tells me a bit about other Bodyform products in the range and being told a bit about these particular pads and contact details for SCA Hygiene are given (the manufacturer of all Bodyform products). Open the packet which is simple to do and your met with a flat pad in a white and orange plastic sealed up wrapper x 16 of course so great for shoving in your handbag as they are all individually wrapped.

The Pads:

So you open up the wrapper and the pad is gently stuck onto the outer wrapper. It pulls off with ease though. The pad is white, soft and obviously flat cotton under a layer of thin material and the back/bottom of it has a light plastic film over it. Looking at the pad it has a centre core to lock moisture in and around the edges there are anti leak barriers with are basically deeper grooves for extra protection.

Size wise for sticking in your Bridget Jone pants they are absolutely fine. They are reasonably thin and reasonably wide and they do tend to mould to your body with ease and are comfortable and soft to wear.

I find these to be absorbent and comfortable, none irritating and simple to dispose of and they really do stick well to undies. They are not the best I have ever used but that's only due to me having to change them more frequently than other brands of this same absorbency though to be fair they haven't leaked on me or anything and they do absorb liquid away from me with ease.

I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase these but I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid them either!

Available in all good supermarkets etc and in different pack sizes and absorbency's too.

Summary: A decent quality pad that stays put!
