Most importantly, it is water based making it compatible with condoms and other contraceptive aids. I bought my 250ml pump action bottle from a shop for £10. Whilst it sounds expensive, a little goes a long way, and the shelf life is on average at least 4 years from the date of purchase, so even if you are an occasional user, it will last - call it an investment!! The lubricant is light and easy to a...more

Premium Review Bodywise Liquid Silk: Grease me up ...... (609 words)

Most women,(and some men) at some point in their lives will require a little 'oiling up' during sex. This could be for any number of reasons, such as time of the month, having recently given birth(obviusly not the men!) or just not being naturally moist. Now, the best and most enjoyable way to get lubricated is, of course, cunnilingus. But sometimes you just don't have time, or perhaps your partner is not feeling perticularly obliging. The great news is, if you're a bit dry, you don't just have to get on with it and put up with the friction burns! Hell no! There are products easily and cheaply available that can make you as moist as a builders armpit on a ...  Read the complete review

Bodywise Liquid Silk differs from lubricants like KY Jelly or various other own brand lubricants in that it does not proclaim to be for medical use it's purely to be used to improve your sex life(which it does a very good job at). I first came in to contact (no pun intended) with Bodywise Liquid Silk when I received it as part of an order from an online sex shop. The packaging is a simple bottle with a very handy pump top a sort of no frills bottle, but you don't buy it for the bottle you buy it for it's contents. Bodywise Liquid Silk is a water based so it is condom safe, it dosen't really smell or taste! of anything. And here is how it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bodywise Liquid Silk: Good Quality Lube (231 words)

Liquid Silk is primarily a lubricant used by people in their sex lives. It is far better than most lubricants you can get in shops such as Superdrug and although more expensive is worth every penny. At www.lovehoney.co.uk (where I order mine) a 250ml pump action (no pun intended!) bottle will cost you £9.99 with free delivery. Compared to something like KY for instance this seems expensive but Liquid Silk goes much further. It is slightly creamy in texture, non-tacky and water-based. (because of this it is completely safe to use with contraception such as condoms). It is also made for women who are sensitive in their lower regions so should not cause allergy ...  Read the complete review

As a curious teenager I used to read about the different types of lubrication that you could purchase, and as soon as it got to the point where I was ready to buy the stuff, I was immediately disappointed by the likes of KY jelly and other cheap lubricants from Boots and Superdrug. I came across Liquid Silk through free samples. The difference is simply amazing, and whilst I cannot recommend it highly enough, you really have to try it to understand fully.
