Morning After Pill (PCP) ... have had to use the morning after pill twice in my whole life, the 1st time was when I was 17 and my long term boyfriend and I had a condom split accident and so I went to the doctors, no questions asked, given the advice to take one pill immediately and then the next pill 12 hours later. I remember taking the first one once I got to work and almost immediately felt very poorly, I had been told if I was sick then I was to take the next one straight away and go back for another, thankfully I wasn t sick but the nausea and the headache was awful. Morning After Pill (PCP) ... have used the Morning after pill once in my life and got along with it fine, it does cost £25 to buy and I must admit you do feel acomplete idiot having to purchase this in a busy pharmacy. The pack contains 2 pills one which you must take within 72 hours after unprotected sex and the second 12 hours after that, but you have to be accurate with this and the sooner you take the first pill after having unprotected sex (within the 72 hour window) the more protection you have, there can be massive side effects from taking these as they are high levels of hormones to stop you from becoming pregnant, and if you are sick, then it won t work.
