I took it for a couple of months but it was making me feel really terrible (mood swings etc) and on the advice of a counsellor I decided to stop. Oh dear! I had every intention of writing a very serious and very informative opinion about the diaphragm as a method of contraception...but I can't help it. I get the giggles every time. I've only ever done it once, you see. No, not THAT! I mean going away for a 'dirty weekend' and it marked the end of a very beautiful relationship - my trusty diaphragm and I finally parted company for ever.
