Advantages: Extra lubricant for sperm killing and comfort, thicker

Disadvantages: -

Condoms - annoying little devices, but so useful in preventing against STD's and Pregnancy . Of course, there are many other contraceptives for avoiding pregnancy, but condoms are really the only way to prevent against STD's.

These cost me £ 6.42 for a box of 12 from my local chemist - the reason I picked up this particular brand is that they have extra spermicidal lubricant, which obviously kills the little swimmers, and also they're made of a slightly thicker latex . As my fella and I were going through a bit of an experimental stage, we'd decided to *ahem* approach sex from a different angle, and I wanted a bit of extra protection .

The condoms are wrapped individually in shiny silver and blue packets, small enough to be discretely carried in a wallet or back pocket should you need to. However, ours were strictly for home use, so they went into the little bowl by the bed that accumulates random tat - hair bobbles, paracetemol and the like .

They feel a little slimy (that'll be the lube) and are a pale whitish pink colour, pretty much transparent when rolled on, which is easier than with some other brands, I feel the lubricant also perhaps makes it a little easier to glide these on .

Taste wise, they taste of rubber - because they're made of rubber, funnily enough .

Anyway, these work well . They stay on when you need them to stay on . The come off easily when you want to remove them , and they didn't break . They dont come with any ribs or other fripperies designed to enhance pleasure - they just do the job they're intended to, keeping sperm and other icky stuff away from my lady bits.

As with all condoms, you shouldn't use them after the expiry date, should take care not to tear them when unwrapping and applying them, and should use a new comdom with each change of activity or orifice. All common sense really, and handily covered in a little leaflet enclosed in the box.

Despite them being made from slightly thicker latex, there was no loss of sensation for either myself or the fella. Overall, I'd give them a 10/10 - so they smell yukky and taste yukky - I've yet to find condoms that don't - but they do the job they're intended for . They're made of Latex, so obviously unsuitable for use by anyone with a latex allergy .

Would I buy them again ? Yes, theres a chance , although I don;t have any real loyalty to any particular brand or type of condom . So long as its a name I've heard of, and carries the CE mark, I'm happy!

Recommended, 10/10

Summary: A great condom from a reliable brand .
