Durex is one of the most common and well known brands of lubricant and condoms. Therefore it's probably the one that most people use, and - as the bog standard lubricant in the Durex line - 'Feel' might be the lubricant that most people try first. Perhaps this is also why the product is so unsensational - the company makes the sales targets purely through brand recognition and marketing and doesn't need to rely on having a great product. So what is it? As I said, it's an absolute, middle-of-the-road lubricant, not flavoured, not scented, not with any other claims to fame. It's also worth noting that it doesn't have any anti-spermicidal qualities. The ... Read the complete review

I've never really used lubes before, partly because I don't really need them, and partly because the idea to me just seemed like adding more messiness. However, when I spotted the Durex Play range on a half price offer a few months back I decided to give them a go and snapped up 3 different types for £2 each. This was the first one I tried as it's basically just a 'normal' lubricant with nothing extra added to it. It comes in a rather nice looking bottle with a press top dispenser at the top. I found with all 3 of the lubes that I bought, all with the same bottle just in different colours, it was really difficult to unlock the dispenser so that I could start ... Read the complete review

{WARNING: Adult Only Content & not for the hypocritically pious!} Durex Play Feel Light Silky Lube' - no negative words there then, Hmmm?! I was actually given this 50 ml light blue pump applicator tube by a friend recently who was moving home - and between you and me I think she has secretly taken up a 'Vow of Celibacy' - the crazy mare! Never one to turn a freebie down (well not until I've checked the splinter wrapping is still intact at any rate!), and being a regular user of personal lubrication - colloquially known as 'lube' - I have seen this in several shops of late. However, aforementioned friend also kindly ... Read the complete review

I had some Boots vouchers spare, need some condoms and spotted Durex's Play range. I'm not a massive fan of lubes. They always seem to dry me up but my boyfriend said oooh lets get some so I relented. No clue why he picked the Feel bottle but he did. So in the basket, it went. Then lots of blushing at the till and off home. It's buy one get one free on selected Durex items in Boots at the moment. No clue how long it will last. The vouchers paid for everything that day so technically it was free but if you're just buying it, it's £3.55 for a 50ml. It's also available in 100ml bottles. I've seen it in Boots for £5.55. Other products in the Play range ... Read the complete review

I've mainly used Durex condoms in my life and so when I decided I wanted to buy a lubricant they were the brand I went to. Unfortunately, I was grossly disappointed. The lubricant is not very slippery so you have to use quite large quantities of it, and then it tends to dry out after just a couple of minutes so you need to reapply. If you read my review for Pasante TLC lube you will see that this is a problem with water-based lubes and you would be better off trying a silicone-based variety (unlike oil-based lubricant, silicone-based is still condom safe) as they are much smoother and they don't dry out so easily. I think these bottles are about £4 ... Read the complete review
