Advantages: not too dear
Disadvantages: burning sensation, smell, poor as a lube
As I have already said in a previous review, my wife and I recently managed to get some time away from the kids. We went to Dublin, and stayed in the regency airport hotel, which was very nice indeed.
Ok, so we had a nice setting, and the benefit of no children around, so we started to feel a bit more amorous than usual. We visited the local ann summers store (which is huge by the way.), and spotted (amongst other things!) play tingle lubricant.
We had tried the original play lube before, and found it to be very good, so we thought that the added sensation of the tingle would be pretty exciting. So we had a meal, bottle of wine, and we went to our room.
You will not get any details of our mad and passionate love-making in this review, cos it just did not happen. We openend the bottle of lube (which cost £5.99), and tried it out. I put a small amount on my hand. It felt normal, nothing of note except for the overpowering smell of mint. I mean really strong. Like someone had melted down a packet of trebor extra strong mints!
So we got down to business, and applied the stuff, where you would usually apply the stuff. As a lubricant it seemed to work well, and, to begin with, the tingle was nice (different, but nice.). The problem was that it kept getting stronger. We tried, but it became so overpowering that we had to both go and wash it off. It was an immensely cool sensation, that actually got so strong that it felt like it was burning our skin. Also it seemed to me that as the effect became stronger, the lube effect wore off, and it became thicker. This added friction together with the burning sensation brought proceedings to an abrupt halt.
The lube seemed to wash off well in the shower, although the relief was not instant. It took a full 20 minutes for it to wear off. This gave me enough time to realise that the lube never really washed off, as it was so oily that residue was still left after quite a vigourous................................. wash! This is strange for a lube that is marketed to be safe to use with condoms. I myself would not be so sure of its safeness, or effectiveness.
In conclusion, this is a productthat is not for me. Not a pleasureable experience by any means and the rest of the packet was binned. It was not even that effective as a lube, never mind the tingle part. I really thought that i was going to have to go to A&E with a burnt ......... You can guess what ....... and have to explain how it happened to them! A big no from me.G
Summary: do not go for this if you love your partner, and love your ...... body.
