Disadvantages: It burns and smells like chewing gum

I had seen the durex range of personal lubricants on sale before and was a bit curious, so when I saw they were selling them off in Tesco the other day for around £1.75 for a 50ml bottle, I popped a bottle in my trolley. I didn't read the label before I bought it, if I had I might have seen it contained menthol and changed my mind.

So I got it home and we decided to try it out. The gel comes in a pump dispenser. I squeezed a little on my hand. It smelled like spearmint chewing gum, not exactly unpleasant but not an aphrodisiac either. There was no sensation at all on non sensitive body parts, so we moved on to use it on more delicate areas.

The sensation was not nice at all. The initial warmth gave away to burning and searing pain, not exactly the type of sensation we were hoping to achieve. Seriously, I was in agony. My other half wasnt nearly as bothered as me but still didn't like it.

What kind of idiot thought that menthol, more commonly used to unblock noses was a good idea for such a sensitive product? Perhaps theres some kind of niche market for this stuff but I don't think it has mass market appeal.

Summary: Dont Buy It!!
