Advantages: Smoothe, silky and pleasure enhancing

Disadvantages: Some people have allergic reactions to the menthol so be careful

*Warning some explicit language don't read if you are easily offended*

Last year, me and the other half decided to get away for a few days in Paignton. Away from our families in a hotel room, we decided to be naughty for a few nights. A few months back, we had recieved a sample of Durex play heat and had enjoyed using that, however, shopping round tescos for our last minute holiday bits, we decided to pick up play tingle at 1.59 for a 50ml bottle.

*Durex*
Now, safe sex people Durex are mostly known for it's condoms, however also make lubricants and cock rings for those who have a devilish side or just want to spice things up. Condoms are the only method of contraception which protects against sexually transmitted infections and diseases.

*A fact about sex (from the Durex website)*
Vibrators were first made available in the early 1900's and was the fifth electrical item released, beating the vacum cleaner. Before this, doctors used vibrators to cure 'hysteria'.

*Tingle*
This lushious lubricant does contain menthol, and when you first open the bottle, the smell of toothpaste does come to mind. This water based lubricant can be used with condoms, although there are Durex Tingle condoms available on the market with the tingle lubricant already on the condom, are suitable for vibrators (Works well) and can be used as a massage medium. As with most lubricants, it is not a contraceptive, does not contain spermicide and should be used with condoms for safe sex.

*Use*
This 50ml bottle comes with a twist pump which I find prevents any blockages or spillages when put away in the cupboard for a few months. Also, I find it more hygenic because the lubricant gets squirted out into my hand. Before using it, you should shake well to make sure all the ingredients haven't stuck together if it's been put away for a while, and to make sure the ingredients haven't separated over time.

*Massage Medium*
As a trained masseuse, I personally advise using almond oil if what you are after is a 'warm up massage' or relaxing back massage before getting started. However, if you are just after an erogenous massage then I advise rubbing the lubricant between your hands and then applying to the inner thighs, the stomach and chest for heightened pleasure. This does tingle and allows smooth massage type movements.

*Vibrators*
I have two vibrators and have used this lubricant with one of them. Because Tingle lubricant is water based, it doesn't ruin the vibrator and makes the pleasure even better I find (especially if it's being used during foreplay). The lubricant is silky and smooth enough.

*Sex*
Now me and my partner have been together for over two years, and have decided not to use condoms so my experience will be different to those who use condoms. I find that a small blob rubbed between my fingers, smoothed on to the private bits is enough to feel the tingle and for us to 'get down to buisness' without having to reapply at any point. If you enjoy oral, I think that this lubricant tastes delicious and is like tasting a polo mint (I personally prefer the cherry flavour lubricant myself for oral though).

*My overall Opinion*
Having tried 3 of the many Durex lubricants, I think Tingle is one of the best. I find it heightens both me and my other half's pleasure and makes 'The Experience' more enjoyable. It's an okay massage medium to use for an 'erogenous massage' and neither of us have had any allergic reactions to the menthol, however reading other reviews, there have been many incidents where people have experianced burning, pain and discomfort. For me though, I think this Tingle lubricant is brilliant, especially when 50ml only cost me £1.49, lasts for three months when opened (the expiry date was for 2010 though) and I only need to use a small amount each time. I rate it as a 10/10 and will continue using because it is one of my favourites.

*WARNING*
This product may cause irritation, warming/burning or itching in either partner. If this occurs or if additional lubricant is needed all the time, discontinue use and if symptoms persist consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes.

I love this stuff, I must admit I went off it last week when my daughter charged in the room and asked if she could use 'Mummys new handcream!' Cringe! That'll teach me to hide it! xx
