I think most women have a wish during their period to feel a bit fresher and cleaner and I am no different. I had long wanted to try feminine hygeine wipes but was held back by something a doctor said to my mum. She had had cystitis ( bladder infection) twice in a year. She asked him how she could do more to prevent recurrence and he rubbished her idea of going the extra hyiene mile and using such products. He said they were more likely to cause problems than otherwise even if sold as suitable for the intimate area. Yet I kept seeing them on sale. This couldn't happen if every women who bought them suffered later so logic told me they couldn't quite be the horror products he implied.
So on a hot day which was the first one of a heavy period I gave in. I paid £1 for these Femfresh wipes. I felt reassured that the packaging said that they had been dermatologically tested and were suitable for everyday use. There was 20 wipes in the resealable package. Elsewhere for the same price I have seen them in packs of 15.
Each wipe is quite large, bigger I feel than necessary and feels very moist. There is a light smell to them a bit like face cleansing wipes. I did feel very clean and fresh after use. I also a couple of minutes later began to feel irritated. It was only mild and lasted only around ten minutes but it concerned me. I suppose however much it is tested in a lab or on other women its not the same as being tested on your own individual body. I do not suffer in any way normally from sensitive skin. I won't use the product again to be on the safe side and I would say do a little trial run on a little patch before using. If it is not irritating to you personally it is very refreshing.
WHAT ARE THEY?
These are intimate wipes for cleaning your personal area.
HOW DO YOU USE THEM?
They come in a packet and you take one out like a face wipe. You should use one to wipe after you have been to the bathroom or they can be used any time that you think you need to freshen that area up. When you have used the wipes you should wrap them and put them into the dustbin because things like that can block up your toilet.
WHAT I THINK
I have used 2 packets only of these wipes because I have had a bad water infection and I wished to make myself as clean as I could so that I could make myself better. The packet looks like face wipes so I never have been embarrassed to keep them in my handbag because I do not think anyone would know what they are.
The wipes are very soft and do not irritate me even though my water infection was making me feel sore in that area. They are not perfumed but the wipes do have a soft and clean fragrance that smells very natural and pleasing to me.
I feel very clean and fresh after I have wiped myself using these wipes and I am happy about that, I do not like to use feminine products very often because I keep myself clean and think washing is all you need to do but this time was exceptional circumstances and I wanted to make sure I was as clean as I could be.
I will purchase them again if I need to but not regular and that is not because of the quality of them but it is because I do not think it is good for my health to use feminine products very often.
A packet of 25 wipes costs about £2 and I think that is value because they are a specialist item. The wipes are big so you need only to use one every time and that makes a packet last for a lot longer that can be used up in a day or two.
4 Dooyoo Stars.
I have to use intimate wipes other wise I wouldn't feel clean, especially when I am on my period or when the weather is really hot and clammy. They're easy to carry about with me in my rucksack and the Femfresh Intimate wipes are great because they are in a small plastic bag with 25 wipes and as they are really discreet, they just look like facial wipes and so not many people realise what they actually are.
There are 25 little white wet wipes in the pack and I use only one at a time. I use them daily and as they're fragrance free and really gentle on the skin, they don't irritate your intimate areas. I've also bought the smaller packs of 10 but they are more cost effective if you buy the larger packs of these. One large pack of 25 wipes costs £3 but they are available on offer sometimes if you keep your eye out.
The wipes are ph balanced and really gentle on the skin. They freshen me up every time and stay nice and fresh in the pack as the top is resealable and sticks back down. They are quite thick wipe and they really do look very much like a facial wipe to all intents and purposes, though I haven't used one on my face!!
I use them all the time and am never without a pack. I really rate them highly and wouldn't buy any other brand.
I use quite a lot of Femfresh products as I find them really useful and very handy to pop into my bag if I am out and about and about as they are quite small and discreet. I have always used moist wipes which are specifically designed for 'feminine areas' and these Femfresh ones are the ones I always seem to keep going back to even though I have tried many others.
I buy the large packs of 25 moist wipes though they also come in the smaller packs of ten. I use them just about every day and more so if I am away from home and on holiday. I just find them really useful in that they help to keep me fresh and clean and they make me feel more confident, especially when I am at work.
I pay £3 for the larger pack of 25 moist wipes and I love that they come in a great resealable little plastic pouch. The best thing for me about the pouch is that it's recently been redesigned and now it actually clips quite firmly shut, ensuring that no air can get in and dry the wipes out. Previously, they were designed to look more like facial moist wipes and unless I was ultra careful, carrying them about inside my handbag all day long would invariably mean that the seal would come undone and the air could get in and then the pack was wasted.
The wipes themselves are ph balanced and completely fragrance free. They are really excellent if you have sensitive skin (as I do) as they cause no irritation at all and are really kind to the skin. They are white in colour and resemble a normal facial wipe. They are discreetly packaged and quite compact and light and so they are ideal for traveling and taking with you whenever you are out and about.
All in all, I'd be lost without Femfresh wipes as I rely on them and use them so much. I definitely recommend them.
I bought these Femfresh intimate hygiene feminine wipes as they are a item which I do use and I trust the brand Femfresh as they have been around for years and make a lot of feminine products. I bought three packs of 10 wipes from Tesco which were £1.59 for one packet or just £3 for 3 which makes them just 10p each. They also come in packets of 25 which are around £3.
This packet is quite small and is great to pop in your bag for when you're out and about and need to freshen up. I have had the one packet open now for about three weeks and as the pack is resealable they have not lost any of their moisture and are still fresh. I don't use them every day but would say I use them a few times a week.
The wipes themselves are white and I will use one or two, all according to how many I need to make me feel fresh. Although the wipes are moist there are not overly moist and you don't feel wet or uncomfortable afterwards. They are fragrance free and have a pH-balanced formula and are hypoallergenic. They are also dermatologically & gynaecologically tested so are suitable for your delicate areas. I have quite sensitive skin and I have never had any irritation or soreness from using these.
I would recommend these for whenever you feel you need to feel a bit fresher, and also for if you go away on holiday to use for a quick freshen up if you are out all day or if you are travelling on a long journey such as a long haul flight or long car journeys. They are also ideal for when you have your period or are suffering from any discharge.
The price I paid for this is especially good value at £1 a pack and I would recommend them to pop in your handbag so you can always have that fresh just showered feeling. They are completely flushable so are easy to dispose of.
I like to feel fresh "down there" and daily usage of wipes that are specifically designed for this delicate area help me to do this. As someone who has had plenty of issues with thrush in the past, I am extremely careful with what I can use on this area for fear of upsetting the balance so I always look for wipes that are pH balanced.
They are quite moist but not dripping. When used, they do a good job of cleaning the area but they don't leave you feeling particularly damp so they're quite good for a "wipe and go". This is incredibly useful when on the go and I always keep a pack of these in my hand luggage when travelling to make sure that I can feel fresh. The pack is resealable and I have had no issues with wipes drying out.
I use these every day and definitely feel fresher after using them. I'm also pleased to confirm that there are no issues with upsetting the delicate balance so I feel that these wipes can be trusted in this respect. There is no real fragrance or scent to the wipes, which is great for me as I have previously used wipes that are supposed to be pH balanced but with a subtle scent that has gone on to upset my balance so I now trust these wipes to keep me fresh without being harsh.
These are definitely not the cheapest wipes out there and they can routinely cost anything up to the £3.50 mark if they're not on offer. I recommend buying them when they're on offer as I feel that they are very expensive at normal price. I am knocking a star off for price as I do feel that they are
