Recommended and reliable! (Kotex Pads)

I have recently been stocking up on personal hygiene and sanitary protection as I seemed to have run out of everything at once...

I know this is an embarrassing subject but it is a part of Mother Nature so these products have to be bought so I think these types of reviews are very useful to others who use sanitary protection :)

I bought these 'Kotex Normal' at my local Wilkinson and paid a pound on special offer, I got 16 ultra thin pads for that.

Made in the UK these pads come packaged in a plastic white wrapper with each towel packed inside it's own cute flower covered plastic wrapper that you simply peel the body shaped pad off when you need it...

Described by Kotex as:' With its super absorbency core this nifty little performer gives you fantastic protection and amazing comfort'.

Each white tissue pad is incredibly thin; in fact so thin despite the core centre that I worried these would be efficient enough for my period. The pads are decorated with an imprinted plain border around the edge of the core and an outer pattern too...

What I didn't like was no wings, I foolishly hadn't realised this when I bought them as I always feel wings are more secure and safer :(

However despite this these were pretty good, the pad had two strips of glue on the back so sticks to the underwear well so there is little movement.

Another downside was how wide they were - you seem to find this with a lot of these products for some reason and it makes wearing them a bit uncomfortable at times.

On the plus side though they did well with their absorption so were worth the money although I won't buy them again without wings...

Four stars, they did well considering how slim they are, I can recommend these pads :)
