Advantages: Great for after you have a baby or are heavy

Disadvantages: Not enough pads in a pack and not in a wrapper

When I had my daughter 3 years ago, I wasn't prepared due to her early arrival! My hubby phoned his mum and explained what I needed. She dashed to the nearest chemist and all they had was Kotex night time pads.

I sort of looked at them in disgust at first as they are very long and very bulky. I kept thinking 'Why could she have not got some thin ones?' I soon discovered just how great they were and what a great choice she had made.

I didn't realise just how much blood I would lose and these pad were very absorbant and kept me dry. I did have to change every 2 hours at first but they were much better than the normal Maternity pads which constantly made me feel wet and dirty.

So when I started buying my things for after the birth of my son, I noticed in Costco that they were selling 4 pack of these for £3. A bargain! In tesco they were £1.47 for 1 pack. So for 40 pads I was getting the equivelent of buy one get one free.

When I gave birth I started using these pads again. They kept me dry and were great again. I did pop to Costco and buy a couple of extra packs just to keep me going.

My complaint about these pads for use at that time of the month is that they are bulky and on the market today you can get plenty of thin absorbant pads so that you don't feel uncomfortable walking and as though you may be walking with a nappy on.

I would definately reccommend these pads if you are having a baby or have very heavy periods as they are very absorbant, but would be a waste of money if you have light periods!

I agree that these are good if you have heavy periods or need them for maternity use. I have "problems" in that department which cause me to be very heavy indeed. These are the best for me .

I used these when I had Alice and thought they were loads more comfortable than the usual maternity pads. Chris x
