Worth it if you are desparate (Morning After Pill (PCP))
Member Name: mrsdeantobe1986
Advantages: Does exactly what it sais on the tin when taken properly Disadvantages: Shouldnt be viewed as a regular answer to accidents I'll be honest, I have had to resort to the morning after pill on 3 occasions, 2 of which i think i was being a tad paranoid. This was when I was a teenager, and although I have been well educated on contraception, I felt it necessary to get the morning after pill 'just to be on the safe side'. It is good in the way that it does provide reassurance as well as the obvious 'not getting pregnant', but I would absolutely not advise girls to rely on this as an every day form of contraception. I have heard rumours that you can only take it a maximum of 3 times in your life, as it can have adverse effects on your fertility levels- I am not entirely sure of how true this is but I would be interested to find out. Because I've not taken it for many years now I have no idea if you have to pay for it, but I would recommend it for any ladies that are worried about their night-time actions' consequences! Just use condoms/pill/the injection aswell ladies! Summary: Don't rely on it too heavily. |
