Advantages: clean,easy,quick and better than towels.

Disadvantages: peroids are just generally annoying anyway!

Every month I am surfin the crimson wave, that's fine , I'm used to it now after the childhood anguish that is starting your period.

As you do , most people start of using sanitary towels which are, basically, poo! They are uncomfortable , fiddly and make a lot of embarrasing noises when your in the loo!
Which is why I switched to tampax, you can start of with mini, but mini and regular basically hold the same amount of fluid.When you are younger tampax seemed to be the only tampon that you heard of. Do you remember those little tampon/towel packs which you got in school when you learnt all about your period? Well since I used tampax I've had no reason to stop using them.

Basically the advantages of tampax are that you are more comfortable, hygienic with the blood kept inside rather than out, and personally I feel I can be more active whatever those sanitary towel adverts say. You wont need to worry about anything showing, you won't be walking like john Wayne (as you do if your towel slips) and you wont feel like your back in those pre childhood nappy days.

Insertion is most definately better with the applicator, it's quick and easy and I find that pulling them out is quite easy too.As long as you don't go over the time limit of wearing them which I think is 4-8 hours then you'll be hunkydory as this avoids leaking or TSS.

They do look quite large in the packet and if your worried about them being on show you could always switch to the comact version which is half the lenght in the packet but stilll the same size in you!

You hear all these stories of girls taking they're tampons out of they're bag discretely and then accidentally dropping them and getting embarresed, but these day blokes should know all about it ,so there is no point being embarressed about what is natural, so just let it flow (sorry that was a cheap gag. But it had to be done!)
